Is Mitt Romney Winning Over The Right Wing?

Rush Limbaugh is the most influential person on the planet to the fringe right wing in this country, period. No one even comes close. It has been noteworthy that he hasn't endorsed anyone from the Republican field for president yet--and it has left the legions of his 'dittoheads' wandering in the political wilderness, so to speak. He is a declared enemy of John McCain and wouldn't support him if his life depended on it, and it appears he won't support Rudy Giuliani either because of his pro-choice, anti-gun views. So who does that leave? If this relatively positive piece from rushlimbaugh.com website is any indication, it amazingly enough could very well be Mitt Romney. Romney's flip flopping on abortion, guns, and gays in a craven effort to woo the Republican right wing would make a fish out of water blush (see this video)--however in a shockingly weak 2008 Republican field he appears to be shaping up as the 'least worst' among the 'base'. He also appears to have the support of Jeb Bush, at least quietly, as well. If you are the Republican candidate for president and you have the support of Rush Limbaugh and Jeb Bush, I would say you are in pretty good shape.
