If I were a betting man, I'd say that Mitt Romney will ultimately get the Republican nod. True, he's flip-flopped on just about every major issue, but at this point he's probably the candidate who Republican social conservatives will hold their noses and eventually vote for. It is noteworthy that Dobson hasn't directly criticized him. Fred Thompson will be nothing more than a punchline by this time next year. Story here.

Bible-Thumper Dobson No Fred Thompson Fan
