Obama Camp Takes Jab at McCain's Temperament

This exchange provides the public a preview of some of the tactics both campaigns will use against each other as the general election finally gets underway. By accusing McCain of 'losing his bearings', the Obama camp is trying to promote the image of Senator McCain being a Grandpa Simpson type figure--the type of dizzy old man who might forget to put his dentures in, answer the ringing iron instead of the phone, or get lost in the mall or something. The McCain team, by accentuating the fact that Hamas has indicated it supports Obama for president, is trotting out the old Karl Rove Republican playbook of making the Democrats look like soft, terrorist sympathising milquetoasts.
