This is an under reported story that could have major implications for November's presidential election. Ralph Nader will appeal to the far left tree hugging environmentalist types, and Bob Barr will appeal to the rifle toting, ranch living far right libertarian type. Between the two of them they will draw roughly 3% away from both Obama and McCain. In some states, that could be more, and it absolutely positively could be enough to tilt the election one way, as Nader did to Al Gore in Florida back in 2000. I don't think it will, however, this time around, as I still believe Obama will win in a rout.
