Lest you be tempted to think that things couldn't possibly get worse for the national Republican party, please read this story.
As it becomes increasingly clear that Republicans appear poised to vociferously contest Obama's stimulus plan to jump start the economy, they walk a very fine line: America is bleeding jobs, and the people are looking for leadership--any kind of leadership.
There is a difference between providing disciplined opposition and being obstructionist--especially in this time of economic crisis. If the current Republican leadership continues to follow the lead of Rush Limbaugh and become the party of 'no', they are headed for yet another electoral debacle in the 2010 midterm elections.
