Who Do You Trust More With Your Money, Democrats or Republicans?

I mean, that's what all of this noise emanating from Washington with regards to the $800 billion dollar stimulus plan comes down to, doesn't it??

And when you take even a cursory look at the facts you find that that's a pretty easy question to answer.

In eight years, from 2001 to 2009, the administration of George W. Bush took the biggest budget SURPLUS in American history and turned it into the biggest budget deficit in American history. Republicans had a Congressional majority for a majority of his term in office.

The Bush administration left office with the American economy being a smoldering wasteland: his toxic brew of multiple wars, massive tax cuts, lax regulation and oversight, and wanton spending being the equivalent of serving cyanide to a baby.

And now we're being asked to side with that party as they deride Obama's stimulus program as being wasteful???

As the saying goes, fool me once....
