The Republican Party is Lost

Can it get any weirder or more pathetic for the GOP these days? Today's news brings us the story of how Joseph Wurzelbacher--better known as Joe The Plumber from the McCain campaign last fall, will be the featured speaker at one of the Republican party's weekly Washington strategy sessions.

That is not a joke.  This is not an 'Onion' satire piece.  That's right, Joe The Plumber--the unlicensed bonehead who could barely string three words together last year, is the head speaker at a Republican party strategy session.

As I type this on February 3, 2009, the national leaders of the Republican party are Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber, and Rush Limbaugh.

Pathetic.
