Newsflash: Mitt Romney will Run for President Again in 2012

Someone should remind Mitt Romney that the track record of candidates who never stop running for president after losing the first time around, is pretty abyssmal.

I propose John Edwards, Lamar Alexander, and Steve Forbes as case studies 1, 2, and 3.  Al Gore would be another, but he actually won the election in 2000.

Here we learn that Romney's going to speak, along with blowhard right winger Sean Hannity of all people, at the Virginia state Republican convention.

He's not doing that for his good health.

You see, running for office continually for six years seems to just make the American public tired of you--like, "Ok, we checked you out, you intereviewed, and you didn't get the job.  Next!"

I actually pity the 2012 GOP candidate for president--whoever emerges, whether it be Romney (the favorite), Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, or anyone else.

That person stands a good chance of being landslided by Obama by a record margin.

MR AT:

Actually the Republican Party is well-known for electing it's candidates after the first round.

Examples:
Ronald Reagan
George Bush Sr.
John McCain

The Republicans like to thoroughly vet their candidates, unlike the Democrats, who vote for people based on their popularity with pop-culture and the media.

By the way, Romney only flip-flopped on abortion. Obama has flip-flopped on just about everything he has promised:

-Checking Earmarks 1-by-1 vs passing 900 earmarks.
-Economy is in the dumps vs economy is fine
-Iraq troop withdrawal
-Promising government responsibility vs spending more than any president in history combined.
etc
etc
etc

As the cartoon indicates, Romney has a problem with the truth. I have a blog entry that discusses why I think he lied so much during the 2008 campaign:

YES

Romney for president in 2012! Obama's time will be up then, his luster have faded (as it is already, gradually) Romney's young, knows why jobs come and go, he's energetic, dynamic..much like Bill was when engaging in the Middle East peace process - and nearly got a deal.

Has a beautiful family ..
He reminds me of Reagan. Imagine, Reagan Revolution .. then we could all be part of the ROMNEY REVOLUTION

ROMNEY REVOLUTION :p and sing .. Children of the Revolutiooon

For those who know politics, he is the man
For those that don't .. Obama was hip in 2008 :D Romney will be 'it' in 2012

DISCLAIMER I'm a Democrat and I support Romney.
