On Glen Beck and the Tea Parties

First question, what exactly are these 'Tea Parties'? Fiscal conservative Andrew Sullivan attempts to answer that question here....


My take is that they are basically a bunch of disenchanted, overwhelmingly white, simpleminded folks who are upset that Obama's in office.  Most of these people don't have a passport and they watch Fox News.

For reasons they can't quite communicate, they blame 'the government' for all of the country's evils.
