The Return of Timothy McVeigh?

Statistics show that Americans are buying guns and re-arming at a record pace.  Indeed, the country is running low on ammunition supply.

Swaths of Americans believe that Obama is planning to 'take their guns away'.  Fueled on my the increasingly popular Glenn Beck and similar extreme right wing rhetoric, the mania is growing.

What is driving this?  The same demographic emerged during the last Democratic administration--culminating in Timothy McVeigh.  And now Richard Andrew Poplawski.

The picture to the right is of the three Pittsburgh police officers this simple-minded maniac gunned down last week.

I believe now is even more dangerous than back then: we are experiencing a brutal recession/depression with the unemployment rate rising daily.  Lots of angry, disillusioned people armed to the teeth.

Add the racist variable into the equation and you having the makings of one violent, toxic combination...

I think there's a big point to be made here and it shouldn't be glossed over. I'm completely miffed by Fox New's incitement to buy up guns at an alarming rate, and the rhetoric spewing out of Beck, O'Reilly and other radio entertainers (Rush et al) that preach fear of a Democratically elected government.

I fucking hate politics.

I fucking hate intolerance.

Don't forget that the complete decimation of our educational system had created a country of dolts that would rather care about Britney Spear's next circus side show, and reruns of Dancing with the Stars than to spend one iota of time to read a book, magazine or educate themselves in any way to think for themselves.

Where were these people when our Fourth Amendment rights were abolished by the Bush administration!

We have the right: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Where were they when the Bush team took away our Eight Amendment rights?!
"Prohibition of excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment."

The GOP has become the Anti-Administration "Party". It doesn't matter what policy, bill or philosophy that comes down through the chains of our government...if it didn't come from a Republican, then it's vetoed.

Yes. We do need to take this country back from these Anti-Federalist. Take it back from the fuck tards who's only focus is political and personal power and whom have lost focus on why they too were even "hired". You were voted to support the needs and wills of the people and industries you represent, not your own fucking personal gain or corporate puppeteers. These people continue to fucked up the concept of what it actually means to be FREE in the pursuit of Happiness.

If you're not doing anything to further industry, educate people, grow your community, elevate the arts or or build up our society then GET THE FUCK off the tv/radio/internet and out of MY COUNTRY!

The great countryman John Adams said:

"I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce and agriculture in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain"

You're 100% right Austin Vegas: we've got a generation of young men and women who have been brought playing video games instead of studying. It's a lazy, mush-brained type susceptible to what rush limbaugh has to say. Blaming 'foreigners' for their ills and 'socialists' for scheming to take over their lives. It needs to be confronted by all of us--this crazy violent rhetoric.
