All Obama supporters should rejoice that Beck, Limbaugh, etc. are being permitted to speak for American conservatism at this time. Honest, well-meaning Republicans must be cringing (or weeping) at the spectacle of their political cause now in the hands of people who make such statements. That they clearly think the American people are stupid enough to fall for such idiocy is insulting--and extremely helpful to the other side. Keep talking, Glenn and Rush!
1) Barney Frank at least makes generally logical statements and is not claiming we are heading towards the "-ism" of the day.

The Nazi's used fear that the "other" people were going to ruin the country and they rallied people against Jews, blaming the minority group for all of their problems. If you heard the Republicans talk, it was as if half of our population just sits on their asses and collects welfare checks. And then they claim that the folks that make a lot of money (many of whom put us in the economic situation we're in) are deserving of all of their money. Riiiight.

Beck wasn't comparing Obama to Hitler, he was comparing what Obama is doing to what the fascists did to gain power. Please study some history before criticizing Glenn.
It is sad when people have such closed minds and do not listen with intellect. Open your thought processes. Look into the facts of what is being discussed. Beck is tryng to get people to examine the facts and not just accept political spin from either side. The GOP failed us under Bush by playing up to big government and big business and not allowing capitalism to work. Now, the liberal Dems want to takeover everything and silence all opposition. The love of Mao and Chavez and Castro should make all Americans shiver in fear. Do not be like those people who accepted Hitlers friendly talk and then were conquered by him a few years later (PM Chamberlain even got the Noble Peace Prize for his agreement with Hitler). Do not accept without questioning both sides. Research what is being said and has been said by Obama and his hirelings.
The problem is that Glen et al are trying to equate keynsian policies with marxist policies and don't seem to know the difference. For people on the right to equate the left with mao or chavez or castro is absurd. Canada , Europe, Australia and even the US have implemented 'left wing' policies in the past without gulags,death panels, loss of private enterprise etc. As a matter of fact Canada's Economy is the envy of the world right now! Don't like the Government and the Universities? Try living without the conveiniences that modern science and technology has given us, most of which has come out of the gov supported universities and research institutions. You want to be free? Go live as a hermit in the desert. Taxes and Laws are a price we pay for living in a civilzed society. You can argue policies but you have to argue honestly. Everyone is entitiled to there own opinions No One is entitled to there own facts!

A simple google search will reveal Neville Chamerlain never won the nobel peace prize. Perhaps you are confusing neville with his half brother austen chamberlain who did win the prize but certainly not for appeasing adolph hitler.
Neville himself was of course responsible for appeaseing hitler which in retrospect was a bad idea. However this in itself was not the only bad decision made in the period between ww1 and ww2 which ultimately led to the disaster.
