Where could something so unspeakably barbaric be carried out by the state government today, in 2009, not in the year 9 BC...?

Iran?  North Korea??  Maybe Cuba???

Nope.....It's none other than the great ally of the United States, Saudi Arabia!

America's insatiable thirst for oil makes for strange bedfellows.
