Yes, people who do these kinds of things should be punished. While we still don't know if he's our legal president, Obama does sit in the White House. The joke is tasteless as was David Letterman's. He should be fired too. Like they say: "haven't we moved on past this?" Evidently not. Not as long as people like Letterman and others are allowed to continue without being harshly reprimanded for their shameful behavior.
