Obama Off Base Criticizing Police Officer

Still, Obama was way off base during last night's press conference when he labeled the actions of the Cambridge Police Department "stupid" with regards to their arresting of prominent Harvard black professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr.

I don't care who Gates is, you don't yell at a police officer and call them racist. If you do so and are told to stop, and you continue to do so, then you deserve to be arrested.

It's called the law, and it's called how we keep things calm in a supposedly orderly society. Police officers have a difficult enough job without the President of the United States taking shots at them in front of the entire nation.
