Obama to Play Hardball

And I'm not referring to the Chris Matthews hosted TV show, either...

After trying for the entire six months of his presidency to be bipartisan and win at least partial Republican support with his legislation--including the $700 billion budget stimulus, and getting nothing for his efforts, Obama appears ready to use his popularity and huge Congressional majorities to ram through his agenda.

Bipartisanship comity be damned.

The GOP is so dysfunctional and rudderless these days, about the only thing they have been able to do is oppose anything and everything Obama suggests--including the stimulus package, his judicial nominees, and most importantly health care reform.

Obama holds all the political cards, though, and the clock is ticking. Time to call the other side's bluff and take home the spoils....

At last we agree on something.

Yes, the GOP has become a bunch of spineless whimps while the leftist liberals stampede over us with their totalitarian insanity. There are only a handful of them willing to fight to reinstate the Constitution and embrace The Republic.

As for the health care reform, this needs to be put in the paper shredder. If you will take the real time to investigate national health care you will find it is brutal and inhuman. It should come with a shovel and a coffin. It should be renamed "Selective Care" because there are people who will be left to die or denied surgeries due to one regulation or another. If you support national health care then beware for you reap what you sow. You will become a victim of it as well. Better think twice on that one.

Well put Alice. There will be nothing but dem fingerprints on this entire debacle.

Obama is an economic illiterate and a marxist ideologue

And his ability to blame bush for everything is waning by the day.
