Michael Steele, like Sarah Palin, is the oil slick/train wreck that the GOP simply cannot make go away these days....He was put in place by Republicans as sort of the 'Republican Obama' because he's black, and he happens to be Republican.
Problem is, unlike Obama, Michael Steele is an abject dunce. A tone deaf idiot known for his outrageous statements and complete lack of knowledge on the most rote political subjects.
He will continue to be a liability as long as he's in place.
