Let's be clear here: Michael Steele's days as the Chairman of the Republican National Committee are numbered.

Mitt Romney will probably be the party's presidential nominee in a few years, and he just pushed Steele into the path of a speeding bus--

That's an untenable situation for the GOP.  Expect it to be cleaned up, soon.
