Given the degree of political difficulty President Obama and Congressional Democrats have been having lately, you would be forgiven for thinking that defeating Obama in 2012 was a foregone conclusion.As Time Magazine's Mark Halperin writes recently, if you think this, you would be wrong.
Obama stands to raise a staggering, unprecedented $1 Billion dollars for the next general election campaign. This, combined with the pathetic current lineup the GOP is going to roll out, (Romneycare Mitt, Huckabee, Palin, etc.)...leads to the distinct probability that Obama wins re-election.
Of course tons can happen between now and November 2012, but the smart money remains on Obama winning emerging a winner again in '12....
