We only spend about a trillion dollars a year on our military--time to take this job away from BP (aka The Keystone Cops of oil spill recovery) and let a nuclear submarine or some fucking billion dollar military robot do the job.
America can blow up the world 1000x with its nuclear arsenal. It can send men into space to walk on the moon.

Blast the hole with a nuke? Might work?
I have solution !!! I proposed to send a ship with tons of Dry Ice ( carbon dioxide) and dump
the CO2 in solid state on the leaking oil hole.
This can be done using delivery pipe system.
Solid state of CO2 temperature is -78C*, if this will be on dump the hole, it wil slow dawn, and freez the oil. Than the concrete bell can be deliver to cover the spot. If this metod will work, I'd like to be rewarded.
