Surprise, Surprise! Crist Leads in 3 Horse Florida Senate Race

He may wind up losing this thing, but no one can argue that Charlie Crist isn't one hell of a politician--right up there with Lawton Chiles and Bob Graham in the Florida Hall of Fame.  The guy is as cool as a cucumber....

Like Joe Lieberman four years ago, he jettisoned his increasingly hard line, bellicose national party and decided to run as an Independent.

Let's hope he wins this thing:  America could use another major party in the worst way--Britain has three, why can't we??
