What I don't quite understand is how President Obama is taking most of the political hit over this clusterfuck....Am I going crazy or was a particular political party chanting like some obsessed zombies at a Jim Jones conference (aka The 2008 Republican National Convention) "Drill Baby Drill!" two short years ago??
Abject Obama basher, try getting this through your thick Glenn Beck brainwashed skull: President Obama is not President George W. Bush...one guy has a brain, is intellectually curious, is not a violent spoiled frat boy--and one guy is. There is no legitimate comparison.
I understand that everyone feels terrible about this and wants to do something, but apparently our nation's smartest minds and our most sophisticated gadgetry cannot deal with this. The plug just cannot be plugged.
What can you do?
Stop driving as much. Ride your bike. Take the bus.
