I should say 'a sliver of a comatose electorate', because way less then 50% of registered voters will actually vote in November...
Obama has managed to pull of a pretty impressive feat: disappointing nearly everyone on both ends of the political spectrum. The far left is pissed at him for not being confrontational enough and pushing through more, and the far right doesn't even think he's an American citizen...
So America seems poised to go back to the future and give the GOP another shot. As if lower taxes, less regulation, and a strident anti-immigrant policy will be the answer....
