On the Ground Zero Mosque Controversy

It's backwards and unfitting of a modern, Western country--let alone the United States of America, for this to even be considered a controversy...

Ostensibly we have freedom of religion in this country, not to mention the firm separation of church and state.

There are, what, over a billion practicers of Islam in the world?  Yeah, there is need for a Mosque or two in  downtown New York City--one of the most populous cities in the world.

Plus, it's the same God, right?  I mean for Jews, Christians, and Muslims....

Silly.  Backwards.
