Boehner and Reid Get Going

This is an interesting read (pardon the pun).  My instincts tell me that Harry Reid will undress this guy: he's way more experienced and seemingly way more serious and cerebral than Boehner--who to many seems quite a bit like a well tanned Dan Quayle...

But clearly Boehner will not be as much of a douche bag, acerbic opposition Speaker as Newt Gingrich was during the Clinton years.

I also like the fact that both these dudes are hard scrabble, self made men.  In other words, vastly different than the totally clueless and oblivious George W. Bush and more like Bill Clinton.

Boehner's big challenge will be trying to keep the fire breathing, mass ignoramus Tea Partiers at bay while actually trying to do serious shit....My guess is that he will try to deftly feed those morons with lots of words "Government sucks!  Health Care is Evil!!  President Obama is a Kenyan!"...but not much actual action.

Who knows, maybe in the immortal words of Rodney King...these two will just get along....which of course would benefit not only America's current toxic political environment--but also the American people themselves---
